OpenLDAP

Settings / System Settings / Main / Authentication

Change the Authentication type to Organizr DB + Backend. Choose Ldap as the Authentication. All of the following will need to be filled in for it to work with OpenLDAP. You can use the Test Connection button to make sure Organizr is able to reach the LDAP server. Note: This does not test whether it is able to authenticate or not.

Setting Purpose
Host Address ldap:// with your IP or hostname of your LDAP server and the port
Host Base DN The full DN of your users with %s subbed in where the username would be
Account Prefix The object type of your users Example: uid= or cn=
Account Suffix The rest of the DN after the username

Once all of that is filled out, the line under Account DN should match what a full user account's DN looks like on your domain.
